RainbowHand® Product End-User License Agreement (EULA)

This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (an individual or a single legal entity) and Shenzhen Fengjiang Technology Co., Ltd. (“Company”, “we”, “us”) for the RainbowHand® hardware and software products, including printed materials, related media, and any “online” or electronic documentation (collectively, the “Product”).

By installing, copying, using, or developing derivative works based on our open-source documentation, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.
If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Product and you assume all consequences arising from such refusal.

1. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in and to the Product, including but not limited to trademarks, software copyrights, patents, and integrated-circuit layout designs, are owned by Shenzhen Fengjiang Technology Co., Ltd. and are protected by copyright laws, international conventions, and other intellectual-property laws and treaties.

You may not reproduce the Product (hardware or software), any accompanying manuals or documentation, or obtain / reverse the source code, text, images, videos, music or sound effects by any means not expressly permitted by this Agreement.

The Company follows a maker and open-source spirit and may share technical information about the Product in community channels in order to promote technological development. However, you must still comply with this Agreement. Any violation or illegal use is solely your responsibility, and the Company reserves the right to pursue legal liability.

2. License grant

The Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to install, configure and use the Product on compatible computers and devices in accordance with official documentation.

Open-source materials published by the Company (including documentation and interfaces) are licensed with restrictions, including but not limited to:

  • lawful use only,

  • creating lawful added value, and

  • not causing damage to the Company or its reputation.

3. Restrictions

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Product except to the extent that such restriction is expressly prohibited by applicable law.

All open-source technical materials and support provided by the Company are intended for use within a legal framework. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

If your secondary development or use of the Product causes any loss or legal liability to yourself or to end users, you are solely responsible. If your actions cause damage to the Company, we reserve the right to pursue legal remedies.

4. Termination

If you fail to comply with this Agreement, exceed the official configuration guidance, or modify / use the Product in an illegal manner beyond its intended functions (including but not limited to unauthorized modifications based on our open-source materials), the Company may terminate this license at any time without prejudice to other rights.

Upon termination, you must immediately stop using the Product and bear all consequences arising from your breach.

5. Open-source compliance

Because the Product is designed with a maker and open-source mindset, the Company may publish technical files and interfaces in its community to encourage capable developers to create derivative works.

We recommend that you obtain the Company’s consent before significant secondary development, and we encourage you to share or publish your work in our community.

However, any legal consequences and liabilities arising from your secondary development are your own responsibility. If your actions cause damage to the Company’s interests, we reserve the right to pursue legal remedies.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

You use the Product at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company and its suppliers provide the Product “as is” and disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement of third-party rights.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company and its suppliers shall not be liable for any special, consequential, direct or indirect damages arising from your use or inability to use the Product, including but not limited to loss of business profits, business interruption, data loss, or other tangible or intangible losses, even if the Company has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Reserved rights

Any rights not expressly granted to you in this Agreement are reserved by Shenzhen Fengjiang Technology Co., Ltd.

9. Third-party software

Any third-party software or names mentioned in or bundled with the Product, packaging or documentation are the property of their respective copyright holders. We acknowledge and thank those rights holders.
